Murphy Park Scupture

The "Legends of Milpitas" sculpture has been completed and installed. The sculpture by artist Vicky Jo Sowell from Emeryville, California is actually three free standing sculptures with 15 symbols mounted on top that depict current, historial, and natural features of Milpitas and its surroundings.

These 14 feet tall sculptures are located at the entrance of Murphy Park on Yellowstone. The weather vane tops depict the history and natural resources of Milpitas.





A large crowd enjoyed cake and punch
at the ribbon cutting ceremony.
