The Milpitas Alliance for the Arts hosted their second annual Mothers Day Literary Tea on Saturday, May 17, 2003 at the Milpitas Community Center. This years event featured award winning Bay Area author, Pam Chun who will read from her book The Money Dragon and also featured a performance by a local Hawaiian dance company, Ma Mano O Ke Anuenue a Kama Kani. |

May 11, 2002: The Milpitas Alliance for the Arts hosted its first literary arts event. This delightfulafternoon tea featured a Vietnamese theater group, San Viet, CALI and award winning Indian author Chitra Divakaruni. Ms Divakaruni's works include Sister of My Heart, The Mistress of Spies, The Unknown Errors of Our Lives and her newest book, The Vine of Desire. |
