| Albert Augustine Jr. Park Albert Augustine Jr. Park is located in the Sunnyhills neighborhood of Milpitas. This wonderful park was the first official "Art in Your Park" project for the Milpitas Alliance for the Arts. This neighborhood was chosen to be the first project because of its active neighborhood association and the plans for a major park renovation. "The Sundial" by Dan Snyder was the commissioned art piece and it was unveiled on May 5, 2002. The City of Milpitas, Applied Materials, Inc., and The Milpitas Alliance for the Arts provided the funding for the actual artwork. |
